The Malvern Singers

The Malvern Singers

The Malvern Singers is a small mixed, adult choir currently with about two dozen singers although we have music for around 40 members. The repertoire is varied but chiefly short pieces that are spiritual, classical, arrangements of popular songs, and songs from shows, rather than major choral works. New singers are welcome, particularly altos, tenors and basses.

The conductor is Edwina Ward and the accompanist is Ron Ward.

Since resuming after COVID lockdowns in September 2021, we have been rehearsing on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm in the URC Hall in Malvern Link. We performed a short Christmas Concert at the United Reformed Church in early December 2021.

We invite you to join us for a concert at Welland Church on Thursday 7th July at 7.30pm An Elizabethan Serenade, a selection of music from the decades of the Queen's reign. We are joined by the Great Malvern Priory Handbell Ringers and flautist Alison Martin.

Retiring collection in aid of three charities supported by former members of the choir.
